Midnight Inspiration

I sketched this really fast really late at night. Then I worked on it and finished it over the following few days. Not exactly the feel-good sketch of the year, but I think it's post-worthy.

On a different note, I'm getting the mural professionally photographed, and it will be up as soon as I can arrange for pictures to be taken.

Work in Process.

My sister-in-law commissioned me to do a mural in her 4 year old boy's room. It's a map of some special land that houses all of Heath's favorite things. Here are some of the sketches that I have done for it, I should be finishing the Mural hopefully tomorrow.. More pics to come.

Overall map idea.

Close up on the castle, it was much larger than my scanner fits, which is why it looks so crappy:

It's a Pirate:

Aaaaaaaaaand a cowboy and his dog:

It's been a blast so far. I'll post some progress pictures and the final when I can.

Have a good weekend.

Meet Albert

I had a teacher who challenged me to draw one character with several different expressions and this is what I came up with.

Contemplations

Not to pat myself on the back or anything, but I love this guys' expression.

Here Birdy Birdy

It's a cockatoo or something. Ha ha

Lizard King

Sometimes I draw iconic people. When I do sometimes I use White and black prismacolored pencils.

Charcoal

Oldie but a goodie.

Sketchbook Stuff.

Just a few sketches from my sketchbook, I was looking into putting them onto some shirts. It hasn't happened yet, but I don't think that it will be long before it does... Even if it is just DIY projects, it'll be fun to wear some of my drawings.

My Wife

I drew this girl and then married her.

This is what she looks like in the real world.

This is what she looks like in my sketchbook.

And this is the Final.

Feeling Mad?

A new take on a classic character. I give you my very own "Mad Hatter"

Dinosaur's Pet

Reality rarely turns out how you dream it, be careful what you wish for.

Original sketch: I changed the boy quite a bit, I think it was a good move.
